This Biltmore Forest home presented a cleaning challenge that required more than simply applying the house wsh mix and rinsing it off. The property featured stained cedar shake surfaces and surrounding exterior areas that needed to be cleaned carefully.

The Property

The large home had suffered a major setback after a previous pressure washing company cleaned the shakes with the wrong chemical which caused the stain to drain out of the wood. Fortunately, this client had enough faith in the pressure washing industry to try a second time by calling me. My approach rendered a safe effective wash without removing the stain.

The Challenge

This propety did not have a lot of organic growth and grime. Just need to basic maintenance. The key was to make sure used the right chemical solution so as not to remove the stain. The previous company refused to accept the damage and she had to pay for it to be re-stained herself. I definitely was sensitive to this and did not want to end up creating more issues.

The Cleaning Approach

I first did a small test spot with the product that I believed to be the best choice. I picked a small section behind some bushes that would be hard to see if something went wrong. Everything was fine so I proceeded to wash the whole house.

The Result

Happy client and hopefully renewed faith for this client that house washing can be done safely.
